Larsenianthus

Larsenianthus W.J.Kress & Mood is a genus in the Zingiberaceae family found in E. Himalaya to Myanmar. It was first described in 2010 in Kress WJ, D Mood J, Sabu M, Prince LM, Dey S, Sanoj E., Larsenianthus, a new Asian genus of Gingers (Zingiberaceae) with four species. Larsenianthus careyanus (Benth. & Hook.f.) W.J.Kress & Mood This species is accepted, and its native range is E. Himalaya to Myanmar. Source: Plants of the World Online.
